HTML a glance

As I mentioned my previous XML article HTML is the Hyper Text Markup Language invented after SGML, simply say diluted form of commercial version of Markup language, Tagged language, using HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) to view information (plain text and graphics) from centralized server. Browsers are client applications to interpret the HTML language to viewable format. Mainly used to view the informations across the network using Intranet and/or Internet by more than one users using client computer simultaneously. Dynamic HTML, XHTML are followers of this technologies. Design, look and feel are improved with addition of Cascade Style Sheets. Addition of client side script in VB (light weight visual basic script engine) and Java get some improvement in the client functionality such as validation. W3C (Word Wide Web Consortium) recommend the lower case of the HTML tag instead of title case . Some of the important tags and usage and description given below
