Simple Past Tense

Simple past tenses are two types 1.using regular verb  2. using irregular verb

Making past tense with regular verbs are so easy simply add ‘ed’ with present tense
[VERB+ed] Examples:

  • You called Debbie.

  • Did you call Debbie?

  • You did not call Debbie.

Making past tense statement with irregular verbs little bit difficult. You have know the particular word for the past tense. Most of frequently used words are listed out in the following table
